Designer Abaya 2011-2012 by Lareine Brand

Tuesday, January 4, 2011

"La Reine's creations are designed to compliment the designs, colours and trends of the International Fashion Houses while maintaining the Women's identity and conservativeness.
La Reine's Abaya Collection & Shailas collections are specifically designed to suit a variety of occasions and cultures. An extravagant line for weddings and parties, a casual yet elite line for evening walks in the mall, and a line for the trend-setters who like to show their individuality"

Abaya is a culture for Islamic women and adopted in all over the world by Muslim girls. But now a days hijab and abaya is becoming a fashion for non Muslim also.
These abaya are beautifully designer to match each individual. You can dress fashionable yet modest and still maintain your identity. I love and admire my beautiful sister who wears abaya, and carry it so gracefully. Since I live in Europe, i know it must be very difficult to wear Abaya, but still I see so many of my sisters wear it so gracefully. It takes so much strength to decide to wear it, and i am so proud of them. May Allah (swt) gives us all the strength to follow islam the way we are meant to do.

This one is so simple yet so beautiful. I would suggest to fully cover your hair as well, not as it is shown in the picture.

Just one word: Beautiful.

These two color-combination is great. Although I would prefer black & red. It looks more sophisticated.

I love the pattern on the arm, and the matching shawl. It looks so cool.

If you noticed that the designer didnt over do it. The design is really simple, with stripes, color-combination and different pattern. But still these abaya look so beautiful even with the smallest change. I love it.

Hood Hijab

Monday, January 3, 2011

Ever since I started wearing my hijab, i try to be bold and try out new styles. Sometimes I works while others I totally fail. But never the less, practice makes u the master. But one of mye new favourites is a hijab style called : Hood hijab. Absolutely gorgeous hood hijab consists from two separate parts: full underscarf and slipover like a hood. The great advantage of this hijab is that you can swap the underscarves or hoods and mix the colours. Below is a how-to. Step by step guide.

This one does not cover neck, so you can buy neck covers. Like this : http://www.ecrater.co.uk/p/8780219/neck-cover-navy

Hope you guys also like this style. I personally find it really nice style, maybe for a party. Another tip is that, you dont need two piece, you can do it with a single shawl. You just have to experiment and find a style that suits you, thats how you learn to tie in several different ways.

Hijab hair

You know what I am talking about, when you wear hijab all day and when you come home your hair feel flat and dull, or even worse when you get invited to someones party last minute, and you try your best to revive your hair, but nothing seems to work and you are stuck with bad hair. Well help isnt far away.

There is a couple of steps you can do to revive your dull hair.

1)  If you are in a bit of a rush but your hair looks really dull and oily, you can always sprinkle a little baby powder into it, leave it to stand for around five minutes, and then simply comb it through.

2) Sprir a small amount of perfume on your comb and pull it through your hair.

3) Scrunch your hair with your hair (the way you do when you just washed your hair)

4) Massage your scalp so the blood circulation gets going.

Hope these few tips is helpful and useful.
